Now, Dong Gun is making a comeback by starring in the Netflix drama titled "Celebrity". The actor attended a press conference held by the production team on Monday (26/6). Dong Gun revealed his activities during his acting hiatus and then divorced.
"I think there must be a reason why I have to take a break from work. I believe that it is important for a father to spend time with his daughter during her growth process from 5 to 7 years old," confided Dong Gun.
Dong Gun and Yoon Hee's daughter was born in December 2017. Dong Gun reveals his pain after the divorce and focuses on his daughter's growth. Now, even though Yoon Hee has custody, they agree to co-parent their daughter.
"After experiencing personal pain, I focused on my only daughter. Even though I couldn't always be by her side, I wanted to get rid of the anxiety about her father's absence, so I gave my heart and time to spend with her," he added.
