Moments of direct interaction with idols are a valuable opportunity for K-Pop fans. However, disrespectful actions towards certain idol group members can ruin this experience as it did for TXT's Yeonjun.

Recently, a video uploaded on Weibo attracted the attention of many people because it showed a fan passing TXT's Yeonjun at a fansign event. The fan in the video deliberately passes Yeonjun and goes to the next member, making Yeonjun appear confused and hesitant.

In the video, the fan wearing a white tank top immediately stood up and moved to the next member, leaving Yeonjun who was initially confused. After realizing what had happened, the idol raised both hands in the air, unsure of what to do.

While sitting without fans in front of him, Yeonjun continued to pose for fans who called his name from the crowd. The idol born in 1999 then continued the fansign with a smile when the next fan approached him.

According to a discussion on Weibo, a fan said, “If 1/4 of a minute of a fansign passes, and the idol himself shows confusion and disappointment with his hand gestures, can the fan be considered an anti-fan? Can we allocate all the other members' time to our bias at another time?”

Fans who watched the video felt that not a single TXT member deserved such treatment. One fan, @junni****l, expressed his feelings on Threads,

“Like I said, TXT should stop going to China... My heart hurts when my husband is passed over...I know he paid thousands of dollars to go to fansigns, but can't you still have some manners? "None of the five members deserved to be treated like that," he said

This incident once again highlights the importance of etiquette and respect in interacting with idols. Fans should be aware that disrespectful actions not only harm the individual being ignored but can also create discomfort for the rest of the group and ruin special moments that are expected to become happy memories.

Ultimately, appreciating each group member and treating them with respect is the foundation of a healthy and positive fandom. Hopefully this incident will be a lesson for all fans to be wiser in their behavior and appreciate the golden opportunity they have to interact directly with their idols. /(wk/inta)
