During the farewell ceremony for the entire lineup, aespa performed with only three members, minus Karina.
However, Karina soon updated her fans via the Bubble platform with a message explaining the reason for her absence.
"Because I still had a schedule in Korea, I had to leave early, so I didn't have time to say goodbye properly.
I'm afraid you'll be surprised because I suddenly disappeared," she wrote to fans.
Fans who had been worried were finally relieved when Karina immediately provided the news.
However, fans were still worried because before aespa's performance at KCON LA 2025, Karina's flight from Seoul to LA was delayed due to other schedules.
Fans' concerns were clearly related to the health of the aespa members due to their very busy and close schedules.
