The film "My Daughter is a Zombie" has once again set a new record for its audience.
After previously reaching 1 million viewers on its fourth day of screening, the film, directed by Pil Gam Seong, has once again proven its success, reaching 2 million viewers on its sixth day.
According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network for cinema tickets, the webtoon adaptation recorded a cumulative total of 2,004,690 viewers as of August 4, 4:05 PM KST.
Since its premiere on July 30, the film, starring Jo Jung Suk and co., has maintained its top spot at the box office for five consecutive days.
After surpassing 1 million viewers in just four days of its release, and further skyrocketing to 2 million viewers in six days, the film set a new record for the fastest box office success of the year.
This achievement equals the success of "12.12: The Day," which reached 10 million viewers.
"My Daughter is a Zombie" will be showing in Indonesian theaters starting August 8th.
