TWICE's Jihyo has earned praise for her professionalism after rocking the Lollapalooza Chicago 2025 stage.
On Sunday (August 3), girl group TWICE performed at one of the world's largest music festivals, Lollapalooza Chicago, USA, as the headliner.
TWICE became the first K-pop girl group to headline the festival after TXT and BTS's J-Hope.
In front of a packed audience, TWICE proved their class as a Lollapalooza headliner, filling the stage for an hour and a half without a single word.
TWICE performed 21 songs in a row, showcasing their mature skills without showing any signs of fatigue.
Jihyo, the group's main vocalist, in particular, received widespread praise for her impressive live performance and stage presence.
With her powerful and powerful vocals, Jihyo commanded the audience throughout the concert, leading local and international media to compare her stage presence to that of an international pop star.
However, despite TWICE's successful performance on the Lollapalooza stage, Jihyo revealed that she wasn't in peak condition at the time.
On a fan communication platform, Jihyo wrote, "My throat was really bad while performing on stage, so I couldn't give many good comments. I also couldn't sleep because of the time difference.
I thought it would be a mess, so I tried my best to run with my body," she revealed.
Jihyo added, "When I got off the stage, I almost fainted... I will do better at our next concert," she said.
Jihyo's professionalism earned praise from fans, who admitted that they didn't notice any signs of fatigue during her idol's performance.
Some netizens praised her, commenting, "How can she completely devour the stage for an entire hour without a break and still think she can do better? This is the standard we should hold all idols to."
"Was it a 'bad' performance from her because she wasn't feeling well? Seriously, she sounded amazing and her energy was insane. Oh my gosh, respect to Jihyo for getting through it all," one netizen wrote. /Source: Newsis
