Park Myung Soo recalled the moment when Jin showed the incoming messages on his cell phone. This moment made the comedian realize how popular the oldest BTS member was.
Comedian Park Myung Soo recalled how shocked he was when he realized Jin BTS's fame. This was revealed on June 26 when singer Roy Kim appeared on the KBS Cool FM radio show hosted by him.
After Roy Kim finished singing "WE GO HIGH", Myung Soo complimented his singing and commented "it would suit Jungkook's voice too". "Would he sing the song if you asked him to?" Myung Soo jokingly asked, to which Roy Kim replied in the same tone, "I have to ask."
Roy Kim also revealed that he has been following Jungkook's work ever since the youngest BTS member sang one of his songs. Conversations about BTS members apparently reminded Myung Soo of the moments he spent with Jin.
“Jin was a guest on my YouTube show once, and we exchanged phone numbers,” said the comedian, before revealing what Jin had said after the conversation that took him by surprise. "He told me that if I called, he 'might not be able to answer,'" she recalls.
The comedian said that when he asked why, Jin showed him what had happened in his text message box. "Three thousand messages piled up on his phone, and they were all sent that very day!" Myung Soo exclaimed.
He continued, "Most of them are in English, and there are A LOT. He gets so many texts that he can't possibly read them all. What Jin means when he says 'maybe can't answer' is that he wants to be forgiven if he calls back later." .
After revealing that some of the senders were world-renowned figures such as members of British rock band Coldplay, Myung Soo voiced how impressed he was with a peek into the life of a global superstar. (wk/goddess)
