BIGHIT Music's newest boy group, CORTIS, will soon debut.
This announcement was made via BIGHIT Music's official social media accounts on Wednesday (August 6th).
A week later, on Wednesday (August 10th), CORTIS released the tracklist for its debut album, "COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES," through a 24-hour premiere on HYBE Labels' official YouTube channel.
The debut album contains a total of five songs, including the title track "What You Want" and the intro track "GO!".
Other songs include "FaSHioN," "JoyRide," and "Lullaby."
The title track "What You Want" combines boom bap and psychedelic rock rhythms with distinctive 1960s guitar riffs.
This experimental song is rare in the K-Pop world, piquing netizens' curiosity.
Meanwhile, the intro track "GO!" is a unique song that blends elements of hip-hop and pop.
Although this is a debut album, all members of CORTIS are credited. One of the songs, the opening track "GO!", was co-composed by all members.
Furthermore, the song "FaSHioN" was co-composed by several members: Martin, Juhoon, Sunghyun, and Geonho.
CORTIS' debut album, "COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES," will be released on September 8 at 6:00 PM KST (4:00 PM WIB).
However, the title track "What You Want" will be released digitally first on August 18 at 6:00 PM KST (4:00 PM WIB).
Meanwhile, CORTIS will make their debut through the music video for the intro song "GO!" which will be released on August 11 at 12:00 AM KST or 10:00 PM WIB./Source: Herald Pop
