Curious about trying convenience store snacks in Japan (Instagram @kissoflife_s2)
Haneul, a member of the girl group S2 Entertainment, KISS OF LIFE, was recently in Japan, as shown in a vlog uploaded to the group's YouTube account on August 7th.
The vlog begins with Haneul walking around and announcing her intention to visit a convenience store to review some of the Japanese snacks sold there.
Upon arrival, she chooses a bottle of drink and then looks at the desserts sold there, including pudding. However, Haneul has bad memories of pudding because the first time she tried it wasn't very good, so she hasn't tried it again. This time, she plans to buy the pudding available there.
Haneul chose the pudding recommended by her staff. Then, she walked over and found Belle and Julie joining her at the convenience store. They both recommended some ice creams that Haneul had to try.
Not only ice cream, Haneul also bought Hi-Chew candy, her favorite. Belle then recommended her favorite chocolate to Haneul, and she placed it in her shopping cart.
Besides chocolate, Haneul also chose pie and ramen, which she had tried before, and headed to the cashier to pay for her purchases. Before doing so, she purchased a skewer from the display case.
Haneul then left the convenience store and headed to her accommodation. Upon arrival, Haneul tried the cucumber tea she had purchased earlier. She then took out her plastic shopping bag and placed the snacks on the table.
Haneul began reviewing Japanese convenience store snacks, starting with the ramen she bought. She carefully brewed the cup ramen and, once it was cooked, tasted it immediately. She said she liked the taste, as it was slightly salty, sweet, and spicy.
Next, Haneul tried the skewer she had purchased, enjoying it with the ramen she had brewed earlier.
Haneul then moved on to the dessert she had purchased, trying milk pudding, which she said tasted like frozen condensed milk.
Still on the pudding side, Haneul tried caramel pudding. She poured the pudding onto a plate and began to put it in her mouth, finding that the taste was to her liking.
Haneul then tried the waffle ice cream she had bought. After taking a bite, she remarked that it had chocolate inside and recommended it to ice cream lovers.
Next, Haneul tasted Pino ice cream, which was shaped like a small cube. She was amazed by the shape of the ice cream when she opened it. After putting it in her mouth, she said it was delicious because when she bit into it, the chocolate melted along with the ice cream.
Switching from ice cream, this time Haneul tried a cream puff. After removing it from the wrapper, Haneul was amazed by its size, as it was about the size of her fist. She tried it and said it tasted like a combination of whipped cream and custard cream, and she loved it.
The next dish was a lemon-flavored Hi-Chew candy. When she put the candy in her mouth, you could hear the popping sound coming from Haneul's mouth as she tried to get close to the microphone used for the vlog.
Then, Haneul tried chocolate from the Dars brand. She showed fans that a box of chocolates contained twelve pieces. After tasting the chocolate, she found it wasn't too sweet.
Laung Haneul also tried another chocolate called Delfi Yuraku Black Thunder. After taking a bite, she said it was perfect for when she needed a sugar fix.
And the last snack Haneul tried was a chocolate pie from the Lotte brand. Just like before, Haneul leaned close to the microphone to hear the crunchy sound of the pie. She said it was also perfect for when her blood sugar levels are low.
After trying various Japanese minimarket snacks, Haneul chose five of her favorites, including lemon-flavored Hi-Chew candy, chocolate called Delfi Yuraku Black Thunder, chocolate pie from the Lotte brand, cream puff, and caramel pudding. After recommending the five snacks, the vlog ended with Haneul saying goodbye to fans./Source: Youtube @KISSOFLIFE_official
