According to her, the divorce process was not easy. While not all processes may have gone smoothly, that doesn't mean it should be used as a source of speculation and public entertainment.
She specifically highlighted the indirect but persistent mention of her name in various programs and comments. She believes this constitutes unfair psychological harm.
Goo Hye Sun also condemned the sarcastic remarks made jokingly on entertainment shows, as well as those who re-raised the issue in programs themed around re-engineering or celebrity dramas.
She called these actions a form of second injury inflicted on her and her ex-husband, as they indirectly exacerbate existing wounds.
She hopes that anyone who continues to use this topic as a subject for questions, jokes, or discussions will stop doing so.
She also urged the public to be more empathetic in dealing with other people's personal lives, especially when it concerns sensitive pasts.
Goo Hye Sun emphasized that even though she is a public figure, she is still a human being who can feel hurt and cry.
However, she refuses to use her pain to garner sympathy. She simply wants to be respected as a person with dignity, not just a subject to be constantly talked about.
Finally, she hopes that her ex-husband won't continue to be dragged into these issues. She emphasizes that no one in this world has the right to control the narrative of another person's life.
