SEVENTEEN's Jun will greet his fans not on stage, but on the big screen in his latest action film.

He stars opposite martial arts legend Jackie Chan in "The Shadow's Edge," directed by Larry Yang.

The film has announced its release date in Korea next month, September, and also released its official poster on August 8.

"The Shadow's Edge" is a crime action film that tells the story of a battle between a police investigation team and a large criminal organization.

The story focuses on a sophisticated surveillance team pursuing a criminal group that has managed to penetrate a state-of-the-art security system and steal billions of rupiah.

Jackie Chan plays Wong Tak Chung, a tracking and surveillance specialist who leads the pursuit operation.

Meanwhile, veteran actor Tony Leung plays Fu Longsheng, the ruthless leader of a criminal organization who is the primary target.

The two characters will engage in a tense, head-to-head confrontation.

SEVENTEEN's Jun plays Hu Feng, the adopted son of Tony Leung's character.

In this film, Jun appears different from his cheerful image on stage, as he plays an antagonist with a dark side and an intriguing twist.

Known for his solid martial arts skills, Jun is expected to deliver fast-paced, dynamic, and suspenseful physical action sequences.

This film will be his first big-screen appearance in the serious and challenging action genre.

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN will kick off their world tour titled "NEW" on September 13th and 14th at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium.

The group will then continue their tour to North America in October and to Japan from November to December. /Source: Dispatch
