TWICE's Chaeyoung will soon be making her solo debut.

On August 8, JYP Entertainment posted a short video on TWICE's official social media accounts showing the process of creating Chaeyoung's solo album.

The video shows Chaeyoung focused on the recording session and discussing with members of the Japanese pop band Glico, hinting at the potential for international collaborations.

This marks her official solo debut as an individual artist, which has undoubtedly heightened fan anticipation.

Chaeyoung becomes the fourth member of TWICE to embark on a solo career, following Nayeon, Jihyo, and Tzuyu, who have already garnered significant attention for their individual work.

In addition to preparing for her solo project, Chaeyoung also recently released an OST song titled "Takedown" with fellow TWICE members Jeongyeon and Jihyo.

This song is part of the soundtrack for the Netflix animated film "KPop Demon Hunters," and has topped various prestigious charts, including Billboard in the United States and the Official Charts in the United Kingdom.

TWICE is not only active individually, but also continues to demonstrate their unity as a group.

On August 3, they headlined the renowned Lollapalooza Chicago music festival held in Grant Park, Illinois, United States.

TWICE is also currently on their sixth world tour, READY TO BE, which kicked off on July 19th and 20th in Incheon, South Korea.

This tour will take them to various countries including Japan, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Singapore, Australia, Taiwan, and Thailand over the next few months.

Meanwhile, Chaeyoung is scheduled to release her solo mini-album on September 12th at 11:00 a.m. WIB.

This marks the official start of a new chapter in his musical career as a soloist./Source: Dispatch
