Known for the film series 'Along with the Gods', Kim Yong-hwa previously garnered attention for casting D.O. on 'The Moon' right after finishing working on 'Along with the Gods' with him.
On June 27, the press conference for the upcoming movie, "The Moon", was held at CGV Yongsan, Seoul. Here, director Kim Yong-hwa reveals what he thinks is special about D.O. EXO as actor.
The press conference was attended by Kim Yong-hwa, D.O., actress Kim Hee Ae and actor Seol Kyung Gu. Known for the film series "Along with the Gods", Kim Yong-hwa previously caught everyone's attention for casting D.O. on "The Moon" right after finishing working on "Along with the Gods" with him in 2020.
During the talk, Kim Yong-hwa finally told why he made the decision to choose D.O. as the character Hwang Seon-woo. "I have watched actor D.O. up close, and he is an actor I really admire," he said.
He went on to explain, “I have heard his life story, from his childhood to how he got to where he is today. I probably know more about him than most people. I believe he has the potential to become a great actor in the future. "
